AAP Calls Key Meeting in Amritsar Ahead of Akal Takht Sahib Appearance

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has called a special meeting in Amritsar on June 28 ahead of its appearance at Sri Akal Takht Sahib. All the MLAs and ministers of the party have been called in this meeting. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will also attend the meeting.

According to the information, a letter has been sent by the secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib to the party’s Sikh MLAs and ministers to appear on June 29. However, no official letter has been sent to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Despite this, he has said that if he gets an invitation from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, he will definitely be present.

Sikh MLAs try to avoid controversy

According to sources, most of the Aam Aadmi Party’s Sikh MLAs do not want to get involved in any new controversy on this sensitive issue related to religion. At present, most of the party leaders and MLAs have not publicly responded on the issue. However, it is believed that he is in favor of appearing there respecting the invitation of Akal Takht Sahib.

Opposition announces to appear

Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal and Congress MLAs have made it clear that they will be present at Sri Akal Takht Sahib on June 29. Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa, MLAs Pargat Singh and Rana Gurjit Singh have also said that Sri Akal Takht Sahib is the highest religious place of Sikhs, and they will be present there as a humble Sikh.

Now all eyes are on the Aam Aadmi Party meeting to be held in Amritsar on Saturday, where the party can decide its strategy and future course on this important religious and political issue.
