AAP Ward In-Charge Shot in Amritsar After Parking Dispute

In Amritsar, Jaypal Singh Bau, the in-charge of Ward Number 42 of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was shot today. He was seriously injured in this incident and was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Amritsar. Currently, his treatment is ongoing under the supervision of doctors. It is worth noting that Bau has also contested municipal elections.

According to information, Jaypal Singh Bau had an argument with his neighbor over parking a vehicle. Today around one o’clock in the afternoon, the fight took place right outside his house. The situation escalated to shouting and scuffling. Shortly after, there was a face-to-face firing in which Jaypal Singh was shot in the leg.

Fight over vehicle parking

Varpal Singh, an acquaintance of Jaypal Singh, stated that the argument was over vehicle parking. However, the real matter will be known only when Jaypal Singh himself gives a statement. Jaypal Singh has also contested municipal elections from Ward Number 42 on an Aam Aadmi Party ticket.

In this case, CCTV has also come forward, showing both parties arguing first. Then they fired at each other face to face.
