Sudden attack on women plucking okra in the field

Pritam Singh, daughter of Pritam Singh, who was injured in the hospital, has accused her uncle of sponsoring the entire attack. Narrating the incident, Priyanka said, “My father has 6 acres of land and my uncle also owns the same land. The legal division of land between the two brothers has been done long ago. Despite this, my uncle has bad intentions and wants to illegally occupy our share of land as well. “

According to Priyanka, on Sunday, when she was plucking okra in the field with her sister-in-law Suman wife Tejinder Singh, her uncle came there with some outsiders and people dressed as Nihangs.

They broke the cameras, then brutally beat them with a baseball.

The victim’s family said that under a well-planned conspiracy, the attackers first broke the CCTV camera installed outside the house for security so that their act could not be recorded. Soon after, the accused surrounded the women and attacked them with baseball sticks. The attackers did not stop there, they also entered the house and ransacked fiercely and damaged valuables.

The accused fled after receiving information on the police helpline ‘112’.

When the injured women raised an alarm and immediately called the police helpline number 112 and informed about the incident, there was a stir. Seeing the police team coming towards the spot, all the attackers and the victim’s uncle fled from there. After this, both the blood-soaked women were taken to the hospital by the family with the help of locals.

The local police, who reached the spot, took stock of the spot and recorded the statements of the victims. Police officials say that no culprit who takes the law into their own hands and raises their hands on women will be spared. The police have launched a thorough investigation into the case and raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.
