Amritsar: Two Pakistani Nationals Arrested at Border; vehicle also recovered

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel deployed along the India-Pakistan border in Amritsar have arrested two Pakistani nationals who illegally entered Indian territory. A car was also recovered from their possession. Security agencies are currently subjecting both individuals to intensive interrogation.

According to reports, the two arrested individuals worked as suppliers, delivering goods to various shops in the Kasur region of Pakistan. During the course of their work, they crossed the border in their private vehicle and entered Indian territory, where BSF troops immediately took them into custody.

The arrested Pakistani nationals have been identified as Mohammad Salim, son of Nazir Ahmed (60), a resident of Naster Colony, Ferozepur Road, Lahore; and Amir Nawaz, son of Mohammad Nawaz (40), a resident of Jasheen Town, Gajji Road, Lahore.

BSF officials have also informed the Pakistani Rangers stationed at the ‘Zero Line’ regarding this incident. Currently, the BSF and other investigative agencies in the Amritsar sector are jointly interrogating the duo. The agencies are working to ascertain whether the two individuals entered Indian territory inadvertently by mistake, or if there is a deeper conspiracy or ulterior motive behind their entry.
