RTC X Roads, India: A grand celebration of Ram Navami organized by ASBL turned historic on March 27, as devotees and participants came together for a remarkable spiritual endeavor, a 1 crore+ writing attempt of Rama Nam (the name of Lord Rama). The event, held at RTC X Roads, became a powerful symbol of collective devotion and cultural unity.
One of the most striking highlights of the program was the attempt to write the Rama Nama over one crore times, supported by the presence of 108 pandits who led the scriptures and chanting. The continuous recitation and writing effort aimed to reflect deep faith and shared spiritual enthusiasm among the devotees. Announcements throughout the event kept the enthusiasm and sense of participation alive as the count grew.
The celebration began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by the Srirama Kalyanam Mahotsava, a sacred ritual commemorating the divine marriage of Lord Rama and Sita. Vedic chants filled the venue, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere.
The event also featured classical cultural performances, including a Kuchipudi dance by the Nritya Priya Academy, bringing elegance and artistic expression to the religious festivities. Devotional music by Sunitha Garu and team further enriched the evening, making the celebration memorable for all present.
The presence of well-known personalities such as Suma Kanakala and Aishwarya Rajesh added prominence to the festivity, drawing even larger crowds. After the rituals and performances, devotees were invited for darshan and received prasadam from Bhadrachalam, ending the event on a sacred and joyous note.
The ASBL Ram Navami event successfully blended devotion, culture and unity, making it one of the most memorable celebrations this year and setting an inspiring example of collective spiritual effort.
