CM Bhagwant Mann Reaches Sri Patna Sahib, Targets PM Modi Over ‘Undeclared Lockdown’ Remark

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with his family, reached Takht Shri Patna Sahib in Bihar today. During this time, he paid obeisance at the Gurudwara Sahib and sought the blessings of the Guru Sahib. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that this is one of the five Takhts of the Sikhs and that the fight against oppression also started from here. He said that by coming here today, he received blessings and prayed to maintain peace and brotherhood in the country.

On this occasion, he criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign trips. The CM said that in a way he has imposed an undeclared lockdown and, while advising people not to travel abroad and to work from home, he himself went on a foreign trip. He should ask his friend Donald Trump and inform the country about the actual economic situation and foreign policy of our nation.

Question – You are traveling across the country, what would you say about this?
Answer – Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the world teacher and talks about the welfare of all humanity. ‘Nanak Naam Chardi Kala, Tere Bhane Sarbat da Bhala’ is a statement that prays for the well-being of the entire world. To protect this statement and to ensure that no one insults it or throws it into the streets, the Punjab government has made a very strict law. Sikhs living all over the world and common people have greatly welcomed this step.

Question – Seven of your MPs have joined the BJP. What is your response to this?
Answer – I had a meeting with the President on this matter. In reality, they have not joined the party yet, but if that happens, it would be a murder of democracy. It is something to think about that in Punjab, out of 117 MLAs of the BJP, only two are there, so how can they have six Rajya Sabha MPs? BJP should leave this business of breaking others’ parties and buying MLAs and focus on the problems of the country.

Question – Are you worried about situations like Bihar-Bengal in the Punjab elections, meaning vote manipulation?
Answer – The EVM (Electronic Voting Machine) process will start here from 15th June. We have clearly told our volunteers that we will not let that happen in Punjab, where real votes are cut and fake votes are created.

Question – What would you say about the Prime Minister’s foreign visit and the rising prices of petrol and gold?
Answer – The Prime Minister should clearly inform the country about how much stock of gold, diesel, petrol, and LPG gas we have. He has, in a way, imposed an unofficial lockdown and, while advising people not to travel abroad and to work from home, he himself has gone on a foreign visit. He should ask his friend Donald Trump and tell the country what the actual economic situation and foreign policy of our country are.

Question – Will all these issues also have an impact on the Punjab Assembly elections?
Answer – Absolutely, now inflation has increased a lot. During the election, prices were stable, but now the price of oil has increased by 3 rupees, and it is going to rise further. This is entirely the failure of the government, which they will now try to cover up using the excuse of a Gulf war.
