New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday announced Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri as its candidate for the 2026 Rajya Sabha by-election in Madhya Pradesh.

According to a press release issued by the BJP’s Central Election Committee on October 28, the party has approved Puri’s name for the upcoming by-election.

The announcement was made by Tarun Chugh, BJP Rajya Sabha MP and National Headquarters In-charge.
