BJP President Nitin Nabin Arrives in Amritsar, Set to Visit Golden Temple and Durgiana Temple

BJP national president Nitin Nabin arrived in Amritsar today on a three-day visit to Punjab. He was welcomed by BJP leaders and workers here. On the first day, he will pay obeisance at the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Shri Durgyana Temple and Shri Ram Teerth Temple in Amritsar.

He will reach the Golden Temple at 3 pm. At 4:15 pm, he is scheduled to visit Jallianwala Bagh. At 5 PM, he will reach Shri Durgyana Temple. At 6 pm, Nitin Nabin will go to Shri Ram Teerth Mandir. After Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana will come. In Ludhiana, Nitin Nabin will meet grassroots level workers and leaders and take their feedback. After this, we will discuss micro-planning for the upcoming elections.

BJP leaders believe that this visit of the national president will infuse new energy for the Punjab BJP. Nabin will meet workers and leaders in all the three regions of Punjab, Majha, Doaba and Malwa to assess the status of the organisation and the ground reality of the BJP.

Ahead of his visit to Punjab, BJP National President Nitin Nabin held a formal meeting with Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittoo and National General Secretary Tarun Chugh in New Delhi.

Election conch shell and aggressive start: Political expert Pramod Batish says that the BJP has planned to fight the elections on the front foot this time. He said that the national president is touring all the states where elections are to be held next year, so that the morale of the workers can be increased. Full stop on coalition speculation: Political experts say that this visit of Nitin Nabin will put a complete stop to the rumors of any kind of agreement with the Shiromani Akali Dal again. A clear message will be given to the workers that the BJP will no longer contest the elections on its own in the ‘lead role’ in Punjab and not ‘junior partner’. Union Home Minister and National President Nitin Nabin have already announced to contest the elections alone.
New triangular equation of vote bank: By covering the Pantak area of Majha, the Dalit belt of Doaba and the industrial hub of Malwa, the BJP is engaged in creating a new equation of Jat-Sikh, Hindu and Dalit voters, which will break into the traditional vote bank of the Congress and the AAP.
Identifying the ground realities and shortcomings: Nitin Nabin will meet all the leaders in Punjab who contested the last assembly and Lok Sabha elections. Nitin Nabin will closely review the reasons for the defeat by meeting all the leaders who won and lost the last elections face to face. This will give the party a chance to repair its weak links in time. Apart from this, he will also meet the BJP’s core committee, executive and other senior leaders.
