Bounty-carrying accused arrested in Balotra for 5 years

Police in the Dhorimanna police station of Balotra district have arrested Mukesh Kumar, a 10,000-rupee accused, under Operation Vishdaman. The accused had been absconding for the past five years in NDPS and Arms Act cases in Chittorgarh district. The police team raided his possible hideouts and apprehended him at his home. Following the arrest, Chittorgarh police were informed.

Action under Operation Vishdaman
According to SP Ramesh (IPS), a special operation, “Operation Vishdaman,” is being conducted to arrest wanted drug traffickers. Under the direction of ASP Harphool Singh and DSP Sukhram Vishnoi, a team was formed under the leadership of Station House Officer Deep Singh. The accused was apprehended after repeated raids.

The accused had been absconding for 5 years
The arrested accused, Mukesh Kumar, son of Rajuram, a resident of Gadra Nedi Nadi, Dhorimanna police station, had been absconding for a long time. Police were continuously searching for him and finally apprehended him at his home.

Serious cases registered in Chittorgarh
A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS and Arms Acts at the Sadari police station in Chittorgarh district on November 10, 2020. He also has other cases registered against him at the RGT and Dhorimanna police stations.

Information sent for further action
Following the arrest, the Dhorimanna police have informed the Sadari police station. Further legal action will now be taken by the respective police stations.
