BSF and Punjab police recovers drone along with heroin in Tarn Taran

Tarn Taran:  Today during morning hours, on specific information regarding the presence of a drone, a Joint search operation was launched by BSF and Punjab Police on the outskirts of Village – Wan, District – Tarn Taran. Further, during the search operation, at about 08:30 am, a drone along with 01 battery and 01 pkt of contraband items suspected to be Heroin (Gross Wt – 407 Gms) wrapped with yellow adhesive tape, attached with a ring for hanging it with drone from the farming field adjacent to Village – Wan.

The recovered drone is a Quadcopter (Model – DJI Mavic 3 Classic and is made in China). Yet another attempt of smugglers to smuggle narcotics via drone was foiled by BSF and Punjab Police.
