BSF foils attempts of Pak, recovers drone and heroin in Amritsar

Amritsar:  Today, during afternoon hours, on specific information regarding the presence of a drone, a search Operation was launched by BSF ahead of border fencing, falling near Village – Roranwala Khurd, District – Amritsar. Further, during the search Operation, at about  01:45 pm, a drone along with 01 pkt of contraband item suspected to be Heroin (Gross Wt – 250 Gms) wrapped with yellow adhesive tape, attached with a ring for hanging it with drone was recovered from the farming field adjacent to Village – Roranwala Khurd.

The recovered drone is a Quadcopter (Model – DJI Mavic 3 Classic, made in China). Yet another Pakistani drone and contraband narcotics were recovered due to efforts of alert BSF troops.
