Hyderabad, Telangana: A security alert was triggered at Moosapet Metro Station in Hyderabad on Saturday night when a 9 mm bullet was discovered in the bag of a passenger during routine luggage screening. The individual, identified as Mohammed, a native of Bihar working in a local fabrication unit, was immediately detained and handed over to the police.

Previous Stabbing Incident at Moosapet Metro Station

This is not the first security incident at Moosapet Metro Station. Last month, a 19-year-old girl was stabbed in the stomach by her 20-year-old boyfriend in a violent outburst. Police investigations revealed that the attack stemmed from personal issues, as the girl had started distancing herself due to the accused’s alcohol addiction.

The two had been in a relationship since their school days at a government institution in Moosapet. Financial constraints led them to discontinue their studies, but they remained in contact until recent tensions escalated.

Manhunt Continues for Accused in Nizamabad Constable Killing

In a separate incident, police in Nizamabad, Telangana, are actively searching for a habitual offender accused of killing a police constable during an attempted arrest related to a bike theft case on October 17.

Constable E. Pramod, 42, was escorting the suspect Riyaz on a motorcycle along with his nephew when Riyaz allegedly stabbed Pramod mid-ride. The nephew also sustained injuries while trying to intervene. Riyaz’s two accomplices arrived on another bike and helped him escape, attacking a Sub-Inspector in the process.

Pramod was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival. His nephew remains hospitalized and is undergoing treatment.
