Bullets fired in Amritsar: Firing at the house of a cloth merchant by two masked miscreants

Once again, firing has taken place in Amritsar, Punjab, targeting a cloth merchant. Last night, unknown persons fired bullets at the house of a merchant in the village Thattha, which comes under the police station Lopoke. There is an atmosphere of panic in the entire village due to this incident.

The special thing is that today, Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal and CM Bhagwant Mann are on a tour to Amritsar. They are going to participate in the political rally organized at Rakkad Punia in Baba Bakala Sahib.

Victim Gurinder Singh, a resident of village Thattha, said that he has a cloth shop in Chogawan. Last night at around 12:30, he was sleeping in the house with his family when suddenly the sound of bullets was heard outside. When the sound stopped, he came out and saw that there were 6 bullet marks on the main gate of the house.

Attacks seen in CCTV

After the echo of bullets, the people of the area also came out. On examining the footage of nearby CCTV cameras, it was found that two unknown persons, whose faces were covered, came on a Splendor bike and opened fire. This entire incident has been captured on camera.

The villagers have expressed deep concern over this incident and have demanded the police administration to arrest the accused as soon as possible. They say that such incidents are creating an atmosphere of insecurity and fear in the village.

The police registered a case and started action

In this regard, SHO of Lopoke police station, Himanshu Bhagat said that a case has been registered against the unknown attackers and investigation has been started. The police team is searching for the accused on the basis of footage and other evidence. The accused will be caught soon.
