The online booking process for Shri Kedarnath Helicopter Shuttle Service for the period from April 22 to June 15 has been completed. In the booking that started at 6 PM on April 15, a total of 10,855 tickets were booked for 31,450 seats.
During the booking process, the first ticket was booked at 6:02 PM, while the last ticket was issued at 7:28 PM. This means the entire process was completed in about 72 minutes. The maximum bookings were recorded between 6:10 PM and 6:32 PM. During this time, 849 bookings were made at 6:10 PM, and the number continued to rise until 6:32 PM.
To review the online booking, the Uttarakhand Tourism Tourist Helpline Call Center made 565 random calls. The investigation found that out of the 10,859 mobile numbers used in IRCTC booking, 4,400 numbers were linked to actual travelers.
According to the analysis, about 51 percent of bookings were made by the travelers themselves, while 49 percent of bookings were made through other channels.
State-wise data shows that Maharashtra had the highest number of bookings at 1,708. This was followed by Uttar Pradesh with 1,243 bookings, Delhi with 867, Telangana with 864, Karnataka with 801, and Gujarat with 700 bookings.
Strict rules were set for booking
To streamline the booking process, a maximum of 2 bookings per user and a total of 12 seats could be booked. A maximum of 5 user IDs could book from a single IP address, while up to 6 passengers could be included in one booking.
Currently, against 510 booking IDs, cancellations have been recorded for a total of 913 seats.
According to the state government, the entire booking process was conducted transparently and in an organized manner, allowing travelers to have easy and reliable travel facilities.
