A prostitution racket operating behind a school in the Kishan Nagar area, under the jurisdiction of the Cantt Police Station, has been exposed. Councilor Nandini Sharma posted a video on social media alleging suspicious activities in the locality. Following the video going viral, the police swung into action, conducted a raid, and arrested two accused individuals.
According to reports, residents had long been lodging complaints regarding suspicious activities taking place behind a school located in Kishan Nagar. It is alleged that an illegal prostitution ring was being operated out of a rented house.
After the video surfaced on social media, the police raided the premises. During the operation, the police rescued three young women and arrested two accused individuals, Ashish Pandey and Jang Bahadur, at the scene. The police are currently interrogating both suspects and attempting to identify other individuals who may be involved in the racket.
Shankar Singh Bisht, the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Cantt Police Station, stated that upon receiving information regarding the illegal activities, the police conducted a raid and arrested two individuals.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the accused had rented the house approximately six months ago, where they were subsequently carrying out these illicit activities.
