‘Dharm Yudh Morcha’ ends in Samana after 18 months, Gurjit Singh Khalsa descends from 400 feet high mobile tower

Samana: The long-running Dharam Yudh Morcha has finally come to an end. Let us tell you that Gurjit Singh Khalsa, who was sitting on the mobile tower, has been safely taken down from the 400-foot tower. Let us tell you that senior officials of the administration and paramilitary forces had reached the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) tower.

On this occasion, the Sangat, who were supporting Gurjit Singh Khalsa in the protest, were eagerly waiting for him to come down. Let us tell you that after the appeal of Gurjit Singh Khalsa, the Dharam Yudh Morcha has arranged for the recitation of Sri Akhand Path Sahib Ji, and the Bhog will be offered, after which the dharna will end.

It is worth noting that Gurjit Singh Khalsa had been climbing the 400-foot-high tower of BSNL for the last 18 months, demanding a law against sacrilege. On the other hand, a continuous protest was being held in Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Chowk in Samana since March 24 in his support.

Regarding this demand, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann called a special session on the occasion of Baisakhi and passed the law against sacrilege, which has now been given the seal of the Governor.
