The team associated with the upcoming pan-India film “Kannappa” paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath ji at his official residence 5, Kalidas Marg on Wednesday. During this, the film’s producer, Dr. M. Mohan Babu, lead actor Vishnu Manchu, famous choreographer and actor Prabhu Deva, and film distributor Vinay Maheshwari were present.
The film team gave information related to the film “Kannappa” to the Chief Minister and discussed the possibilities of filming in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath informed about the rapidly developing film city project in Uttar Pradesh and the features of the film policy being given by the government. He also assured all possible cooperation while inviting filmmakers to shoot in the state.
Dr. Mohan Babu expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister and said that the positive atmosphere created in Uttar Pradesh regarding film production is becoming an example for the entire country. He praised the film policy of the state government and showed interest in the possibilities of shooting in the state in future.
This visit is being considered as a courtesy visit as well as an important step towards establishing Uttar Pradesh as an emerging film destination
