Chennai: Renowned Tamil film director Selvaraghavan, brother of actor Dhanush, has shared two important life lessons with his fans. In a recent Instagram video, he emphasized the importance of working quietly towards one’s goals without seeking help from others.
Selvaraghavan advises, “When you have a task to accomplish, there’s no need to broadcast it to everyone. Many people tend to share their plans with friends and anyone who will listen, which can ultimately hinder their success.” He believes that keeping one’s ambitions private is crucial, cautioning that others may not genuinely be happy for your achievements. “It’s better to work in silence and return quietly—let even those at home be unaware of your efforts,” he stated.
He then offered a second lesson, advising against asking others for help. He explained that even if people agree to assist, they may remind you of their support for a long time, often inflating their contribution. “They might help a little but will act like they did something monumental,” he remarked.
