Two School Students Killed in Road Mishap Near Faridkot

Faridkot, Feb 17 — In a heartbreaking incident near the Cantonment entry gate on Faridkot–Sadiq Road, two school students were killed when the motorcycle they were riding collided with an Indian Army truck on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The victims, identified as Harshanj Singh and Dhiraj, were residents of Jhotiwala village in Faridkot district and students of Classes 11 and 12, respectively.

Returning Home After Tuition When Tragedy Struck

According to police, the duo was returning home after attending tuition classes in Faridkot when the accident occurred near the cantonment area. The motorcycle they were riding reportedly collided with the truck, leading to fatal injuries for both teenagers.

Despite reaching the spot quickly, medical teams declared both students dead on arrival at a nearby hospital.
