RSS Leader Murder Case: Accused Badal Killed in Fazilka, Shot by his own associates while in police custody

Fazilka: The killer of RSS leader Naveen Arora from Ferozepur, Punjab, was shot dead by his own accomplices in Fazilka. A policeman was also injured in the incident. When the police brought the accused to Fazilka to recover the weapon, his accomplices opened fire on the police team. According to the police, his accomplices were there to protect him. After the shooting, the accused fled the scene. The injured policeman was admitted to the hospital.

DIG gave a statement on the incident

DIG Harmanbir Singh Gill said that the main shooter Badal was killed in an encounter. The incident took place when a team of Ferozepur police, including DSP City and DSP Detective, along with a CIA inspector, reached the crematorium to recover the weapon. The case relates to the murder of RSS leader Naveen in Ferozepur city on November 15.

The DIG said that the accused’s associates were hiding in the crematorium and opened fire first. The police retaliated, in which the main shooter, Badal, was injured, who later died.

Police personnel injured

Gurinder Singh, in charge of Amir Khas police station in Fazilka, said that the police had brought Badal to the Mahmuzi area. During the firing, his associates were hiding near the crematorium and opened fire on the police. Head Constable Balour Singh, who was accompanying the main accused, was shot in the arm. The injured policeman is undergoing treatment in a hospital.

RSS leader Naveen Arora murder case

RSS leader Naveen Arora was murdered in a market in Ferozepur on November 15. The criminals shot him in public. The police arrested the main accused Badal and Kanav. Kanav also participated in the police encounter.

During the police investigation, it was revealed that they were offered Rs 1 lakh each for the murder. The Khalistani organisation Sher-e-Punjab Brigade has claimed responsibility for the murder. The group said, “We have reformed the leader of the Hindutva gang.”
