Free treatment scheme in Punjab

The Punjab government has given a New Year’s gift to the people of Punjab. The government had promised that the state’s citizens would receive the best treatment facilities, and this promise is now being fulfilled. Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, along with his ministers and officials, has announced that free treatment up to Rs. 10 lakh will be available to every citizen of Punjab in government and private hospitals from January 1st.

This facility has been officially announced. This free treatment of Rs. 10 lakh will be available to every citizen of Punjab. There is no income or age limit for this. This means that from the poorest person to the millionaire, every citizen will be able to receive this free treatment up to Rs. 10 lakh.

This treatment will not only be available in government hospitals, but a comprehensive list of private hospitals is also being released where this treatment up to Rs. 10 lakh will be available. Every citizen will receive cashless and paperless treatment. This will be available not only in cities but also in villages, and the government will address any complaints through a digital platform and provide immediate benefits to those who request them.

Undoubtedly, this scheme is welcome because it will also benefit government employees and pensioners, who currently receive reimbursement for their medical bills from their respective departments.Secondly, this scheme will cover all treatments for serious illnesses such as cancer, major surgeries, ICU, critical care, and life-saving treatments.
