Six Missing Students Recovered in Haridwar, Handed Over to Families

Dehradun\Haridwar: Panic ensued in the Doiwala area of ​​Dehradun on Wednesday when six students from Himalayan Public School suddenly went missing after school hours. When the children failed to return home, their distressed parents rushed to the school to make inquiries; the school management immediately reported the matter to the police. Acting swiftly upon this information, the police launched a search operation for the students. Officers from the Lal Tappar police outpost and the Doiwala police station began scouring CCTV footage, and within just a few hours, the students were located in Haridwar.

According to reports, the students who attend Himalayan Public School in Fatehpur were scheduled to return home by school bus around 1:30 PM after classes ended; however, six of them wandered off without informing anyone. When the children did not arrive home, their parents contacted the school management, following which the entire incident was reported to the police. The news of the children’s disappearance left their families inconsolable with grief. However, once the police initiated their investigation, the children were safely recovered from Haridwar just a few hours later.

Subsequently, all six students were safely brought to the Lal Tappar police outpost. During questioning, it was revealed that the children had gone to Haridwar for an outing without telling anyone. After completing the necessary legal formalities, the police handed all the children over to their parents. The families breathed a sigh of relief upon finding their children safe and expressed their gratitude to the police. Among those present was Nisha Devi, the Village Head of Majri.
