Haryana man kills girlfriend, later shots himself

Chandigarh: A young man in Haryana has killed his girlfriend after a fight between two over some issue  and then shot himself, sources said. 

Reports reaching The Savera Times said that this incident happened at the  girl’s  home, after which her sister raised an alarm,  and the nearby villagers  gathered there and later informed police.

Sources said that the man has recently come out of jail and has also fired bullets at the police. 

“There were many cases of fighting against him. The police have started the investigation after getting the postmortem of both the bodies done.”

Both were in relationship from two years

According to Palwal police, Ravi, a resident of village Manpur, was in a love relationship with a girl named Pooja from the same village. Both were in a relationship for 2 years. On Saturday, there was a quarrel between the two over something.

Country made pistol used in Crime

On Sunday afternoon, Ravi entered Pooja’s house with a country-made pistol. He fired bullets on Pooja’s head and shoulder. Due to which Pooja died on the spot.

Ravi shot himself in the head.

After the death of his girlfriend Pooja, Ravi shot himself in the head. He also died on the spot. After the incident, the police reached there, investigated the crime scene and sent the bodies to the civil hospital.

According to the initial investigation of the police, the accused youth Ravi was of criminal nature. Many cases of fighting were pending against him. Last year, he had also fired bullets at the police near Manpur village. After this, he was arrested and sent to jail. He was released from jail only 2 months ago.
