A shocking incident has come to light in Panipat, Haryana. Here, a 16-year-old girl and a 19-year-old boy committed suicide by jumping in front of the Vande Bharat train. It is being told that there was a love affair between the two. Their love story also ended with the death of both.
The couple ended their lives by jumping in front of the Vande Bharat Express train on platform 3 at Panipat railway station. Both were residents of Raipur in Karnal district. The GRP police station took the bodies into custody and started an investigation. Both had left home at 7 am on Monday. The girl’s family had registered a case against the deceased youth in Munak police station. Since then, the Munak police station was also investigating the matter.
On Wednesday morning at around 7 am, a young man and a teenager jumped in front of the Vande Bharat Express train going from Delhi to Ambala at Panipat railway station. During this, there was a stir among the passengers present on the platform. The railway police was informed about the incident in a hurry. Both died on the spot. The name of the youth was Gaurav. Both were residents of village Gharaunda of Munak police station area of Karnal district. GRP police station took the bodies of both in custody and sent them for postmortem. The matter is being investigated.
What does the police say
According to the police, both had left home on Monday. The girl’s family had lodged an FIR against the youth. After which the police of Munak police station were also searching for him. Acting station GRP in-charge Balwan Singh said that the girl and the youth have committed suicide by jumping in front of the train. Action is being taken after taking the bodies in custody.
