All schools and colleges will remain closed on the day of the Common Eligibility Test (CET) to be held on 26th and 27th July in Haryana. 27th July is a Sunday. In such a situation, schools and colleges will have to keep a holiday on 26th i.e. Saturday.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the leaves of the officers have been canceled so that there is no chaos regarding the examination. The officers who have gone on leave have been called back.
Candidates will get free bus facility to bring and take them to the exam center. One member of the family of female candidates will also be able to travel with them for free. The Transport Department will make arrangements to take the candidates to the exam center by 7:30 am for the morning session and by 12:30 pm for the evening session.
Apart from this, free shuttle bus service will also be available to the nearest point of the exam centers. For this, about 9 thousand ordinary buses will be used daily. Candidates can also book seats in advance by filling in their details on the link provided by the Transport Department https://hartrans.gov.in/advance-booking-for-cet-2025/.
The Transport Department says that due to the exam, transport facilities will be very less for 2 days. Therefore, in these 2 days, people should travel only for important work, so that they do not have to face problems.
