Neuroscience Center builds in Chandigarh soon

24 hour emergency facility will be available, will have 300 beds.

Chandigarh: The Neuroscience Center is going to be ready soon in PGI, Chandigarh. For this, the building work is almost complete. It will be fully ready by the end of August. Inside this, a 24-hour emergency facility will be available for neurology patients.

This will be the largest neuroscience center in North India. This neurology hospital to be built in PGI will have 300 beds. In which maximum facilities will be available for the patients.

There will be a lab facility inside this hospital, and a lab is also being prepared inside this building for other tests related to neurology. The Neurology OPD facility will also be inside this building. So that all the facilities can be available to the patient in one place.

In the 2024 meeting of the Finance Committee of PGI, a proposal to recruit 14 new resident doctors was passed. They will need to run a separate new center. Soon, their vacancy will be released by PGI.

A critical care unit of about 25 beds and an emergency room of 15 beds have been prepared in this neurology hospital. When this hospital starts, apart from Chandigarh, states like Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir will also benefit from it.
