Iran Opens Strait of Hormuz to All Ships During Ceasefire

Tehran: Iran has announced that the strategically important Strait of Hormuz will remain fully open to all commercial vessels during the ceasefire period.

Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said the decision was taken in light of the ongoing ceasefire in the region, ensuring smooth flow of maritime trade.

In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran.
