Driver Binder Singh stated that he was transporting gravel from Mukerian to Ferozepur. Upon reaching the vicinity of Talwandi Chaudhrian, a tire on the trailer suddenly burst; as a result, the vehicle went out of control and overturned along the roadside. According to locals, the sound of the tire bursting was heard from a considerable distance, causing a stir in the area.

Immediately after the incident, passersby rushed to the scene to assist and safely extricated the driver.
