Karisma Kapoor arrives in Delhi amid ex-husband’s property dispute

New Delhi, July 31: There is a dispute going on in the family over the property worth Rs 30 thousand crores of late businessman and Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sunjay Kapur. All is not well between Sanjay’s mother Rani Kapoor and wife Priya Sachdev. Amidst these reports, Karisma Kapoor was seen at Delhi airport with her two children. It is believed that Karisma has reached Delhi in view of the property dispute.

In the video from Delhi airport, Karishma is seen walking ahead while exiting the airport, while Kian and Samaira are behind her. Karishma is seen quickly walking towards her car.

Meanwhile, amid the property dispute, Sunjay’s wife Priya Sachdev made a big change on her Instagram. She changed her Instagram handle name to Priya Sunjay Kapur, which was earlier Priya Sachdev Kapoor.

Rani kapur described herself as the majority shareholder

About a week ago, Sunjay’s mother Rani claimed that she is the sole representative of the Kapur family’s interests in the auto component company. Citing a will dated 10 years ago, Rani Kapur claimed that as per the will dated June 30, 2015, she is the sole beneficiary of her late husband Surinder Kapur’s property. This made her the majority shareholder of Sona Group, which includes her share in the auto component firm. Rani Kapoor had also raised questions over her son’s death in the UK, calling it suspicious.

The company said- Rani is not a shareholder since 2019

Rani Kapur had demanded to postpone the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), but the company rejected her demand. The company said that Rani Kapur is not a shareholder of the company since 2019, so there is no question of accepting her demand.

“In May 2019, the company had received a declaration stating Sunjay Kapur as the sole beneficial owner of RK Family Trust, which is the major shareholder of Aureus Investment Private Limited,” the company said.
