Kharar Businessman receives ₹4 Crore Extortion Threat, caller claims links to Kaushal Chaudhary Gang

A case of demanding a ransom of Rs 4 crore from a businessman has come to light in the Kharar constituency of Mohali district. According to the information, the businessman was called from a foreign number and told that he was from the Kaushal Chaudhary gang.

The accused, who called, said that if the demanded ransom was not given, he would also be treated like Rana Balachauria. After this threat, the businessman immediately informed the police.

As soon as the complaint was received, the Mohali police immediately registered a case and started investigating the matter. The police are investigating the location and number of the call to reach the culprits.

Police officials say that the matter has been taken seriously, and necessary steps are also being taken for the safety of the businessman.
