Why Indian Armed Forces attacked these nine infrastructures

Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, targeting nine terrorist infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. But why are these nine areas targeted by the Indian Army. So here is the reason: Markaz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur: This is the JeM’s main center for training and indoctrination. JeM, also known as Jaish-e-Mohammed and the Army.

Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, targeting nine terrorist infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. But why are these nine areas targeted by the Indian Army. So here is the reason:

Markaz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur: This is the JeM’s main center for training and indoctrination. JeM, also known as Jaish-e-Mohammed and the Army of Mohammed, is an extremist group based in Pakistan. Markaz Subhan Allah serves as the operational headquarters of JeM and is linked to planning operations, including the Pulwama attack of February 14 2019.

The other area that became the target of the Indian Armed Forces was Markaz Taiba, Muridke. It is the main training centre of LeT. Lashkar-e-Toiba is based in Muridke near Lahore in Pakistan. Markaz Taiba provides arms training and religious indoctrination for recruits from within and outside Pakistan.

Mehmoona Joya Facility,  Sialkot became another target of the Indian Armed Forces. This facility is used for infiltration into Jammu. This facility is commanded by Mohammd Irfan Khan, who has been connected to multiple attacks in the Jammu region.

Markaz Ahle Hadith, Barnala, Bhimnber: This facility is used for infiltrating operatives and weapons into the Poonch–Rajouri–Reasi sector. This facility can house around 100-150 cadres and functions as a staging ground for operations.

Sarjal/Tehra Kalan became another target of the Indian Army. This JeM launching facility operates from a PHC in Tehra Kalan Village and is used for the construction purpose of a tunnel, drone operations and smuggling of arms and narcotics.

Markaz Abbas, Kotli: This is the facility that is led by Hafiz Abdul Shakoor. He is a shura member and close aide of Mufti Abdul Rauf Asghar. THIS FACILITY can accommodate around 100 to 125 JeM operatives and serves as a hub for planning and launching infiltration missions into Poonch-Rajouri sector.

Markaz Syedna Bilal became another target of Indian Army. This facility serves as a transit camp for militants before they infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir. Markaz Syenda Bilal has the facility to accommodate around 50 to 100 operatives.

Maskar Raheel Shahid, Kotli: It is an HM facility that can house around 150-200 miltants. This camp specializes in arms training, sniping, BAT actions and survival skills in hilly terrain. This facility is one of the HM’s oldest operational center in Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Shawai Nallah Camp, Muzaffarabad is also one of the nine infrastructures targeted by Indian Armed Forces. This facility has been active since the early 2000s. This facility is known for training recruits in religious indoctrination, physical conditioning, GPS use and weaponry.  This facility can accommodate around 200 to 250 militants. It serves as a staging ground for operations targeting North Kashmir.

With the attack on these nine terrorist infrastructures, Indian Government has reaffirmed their commitment to give a strong response to terrorism, granting the military full operational freedom.
