Gangsters Open Fire in Ludhiana; Police Suspect Extortion Motive

Ludhiana: Late at night, miscreants opened fire outside a businessman’s home near Lohara Bridge in Ludhiana’s Thana Daba area. The firing severely shattered the businessman’s balcony glass, and bullet marks were also found on the walls.

According to reports, approximately 20 to 25 rounds were fired. A slip of paper was also recovered from the scene, which read “Gangster Kaushal Chaudhary Group” and “5 crores.” This slip is being linked to the gangster’s extortion.

Police engaged in investigating the matter

Upon receiving information about the incident, police from the Daba police station arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Police have begun scanning CCTV cameras installed in the area to identify the perpetrators and take swift action.
