Massive Fire near AC Market in Ludhiana Causes Major Property Damage

Ludhiana: A massive fire broke out outside the Krishna Lala & Sons showroom near AC Market on Deepak Cinema Road in Ludhiana late last night. A car parked nearby was completely gutted, and the glass windows of the showroom were shattered. The fire was so fierce that the walls of the surrounding building turned completely black, and three AC compressors were also gutted.

Initial efforts by local residents

Local resident Mukesh said that the incident took place around 12:00 am. He was sitting in his house when he heard voices from outside, “Bring water, bring water.” Going outside, he saw fire in front of his house. Local residents tried to douse the fire with buckets and hoses, but the fire was so intense that it was difficult to control.

Fire brigade brought it under control

The fire brigade reached the spot soon after receiving the information about the fire and, after much effort, brought the fire under control.

Preliminary investigation: Fire suspected to have spread from garbage
According to fire department officials, preliminary investigation has revealed that the fire started from nearby garbage and spread slowly. However, the exact cause and circumstances of the fire are being investigated. The police and fire department are investigating the matter.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported

There is no report of any casualty in the incident, but considerable property damage has been caused.
