Lady Singer Murder Case in Ludhiana: Inder Shot Twice, Bullets Hit Chest and Temple

A major revelation has come to light in the murder case of Punjabi singer Inder Kaur in Ludhiana. After the postmortem of the body, it was revealed that the singer was shot twice. One bullet passed through the right side of her chest and the other was found lodged in her forehead.

The singer’s postmortem was conducted in Ludhiana through a board of doctors. It included forensic expert Dr. Karan, Dr. Vishal Chopra, and Dr. Mandeep.

Meanwhile, after the postmortem, Inder Kaur was cremated in Ludhiana. During this time, her grandmother fainted. The rest of the family was also seen crying loudly.

Accused NRI’s lawyer says – This is not murder, it’s suicide
The lawyer of accused NRI Sukhvinder Singh alias Sukhi Barad claims that this is not murder but suicide. Transactions of 60-70 lakh were also made from Sukhi’s account to Inder. Sukhi used to post family photos on Instagram, so how could Inder not know that she was married? There is also no evidence that Sukhi had come to Punjab.

The lawyer also deemed it wrong to name Sukhi’s father in the case and raised several questions about the police investigation theory and Inder’s family’s allegations. The lawyer claimed that for this reason, the court gave only a one-day remand to the accused instead of five days. Inder’s body was found on May 19 in the Neelo Canal of Ludhiana.

After which the car was also recovered a few kilometers away. The police have registered a case of murder against Sukhi, her father and 2 friends in this case. In which Sukhi’s father Pritam Singh and 2 friends have also been arrested. The police said that Sukhi wanted to forcibly marry Inder, but he refused because Sukhi was already married.

Key points said by Sukhi Barad’s lawyer regarding the case: –

The presence of bullets is a matter for investigation; finding blood in the car does not indicate murder: Ishwarjot, Sukhi Barad’s lawyer, said – Whether Inder Kaur was murdered or committed suicide is part of the investigation. Whether Inder was shot or not is still under investigation. This will be revealed only after the post-mortem. Finding blood stains in the car does not decide that Inder Kaur was murdered. If the car fell into the canal, it could also be an accident.
The police told the court – no signs of gunshot: The lawyer said – Last time, while seeking remand, the police said that they found blood stains in the car. The court asked if there were any gunshot marks, etc., and the police denied it. Even then, the court asked that if nothing from the gun was found, how was Section 25, 27 of the Arms Act applied. The police did not have any answer.

Sukhi and Inder were in a relationship, a clap cannot happen with one hand: Sukhi Barad and Inder Kaur were already in a relationship. If someone posts a photo with their family on Instagram etc., it clearly shows their status. Sukhwinder got along well with Inder Kaur. A clap is never possible with one hand. Transactions worth lakhs of rupees were made from Sukhi’s accounts. We have all the evidence. We will present it to everyone soon.

When we conducted the raid, the father was shown as arrested: Advocate Ishwarjot said that Sukhi’s father is retired from the army. The police linked his name to this case and kept him in illegal custody for 12 hours. We filed a writ in the High Court and then conducted the raid. After that, the police disclosed his arrest the very next evening. A conspiracy was hatched to trap Sukhwinder and his father to grab the money.

Sukhi came to India, even his father does not know: The lawyer claimed that Sukhi had come to India, and his father has no knowledge of it. He was not even present where Inder’s murder is being claimed to have occurred. Inder’s family also has no evidence of this. They and the police will have to prove this.
Kidnapped at gunpoint or went to C-off: Lawyer Ishwarjot, based on statements from Inder’s family, said that the singer’s family should clarify whether he was kidnapped at gunpoint or if he went to C-off to meet Sukhi. If he was kidnapped at gunpoint, then CCTV cameras would have been installed there, and it would be evident from them.

Inder Kaur’s lawyer said – The defense side will say whatever they want
Inder Kaur’s lawyer Harkamal Singh said that nothing happens just because the defense side says so. The accused have been on remand for the past six days. If someone is a lawyer for the defense, of course, they will speak in defense of their client. Whenever Sukhvinder went to Canada, whom did he give his two pistols to? At his home, it was only his father, to whom he gave the pistols. It was the father who sent them along with him.

The court has also accepted this. The father has been named in the case for keeping the pistols and being involved in the planning of Inder Kaur’s murder in Mohali. The police are trying to investigate CCTV footage. But the pistols have already been recovered.

According to the FIR registered against Sukhvinder, an LOC will be issued against him. If he surrenders to the police on his own, it will be clear whether he has come to India or not. Meanwhile, the police are also checking CCTV to see wherever Sukhvinder appears.

When asked about the claims of Sukkhi’s lawyer, SHO Dalveer Singh of Jamalpur police station in Ludhiana said that the accused just says this. He gave the same response regarding the allegation that Sukhvinder’s father was illegally detained.
