UP: Mafia Atiq Ahmed’s son Abaan died as speeding car crashes into divider; three injured

Two people, including Atiq Ahmed’s son Abaan, died in a road accident, while three others are reported to be in critical condition. The group was traveling from Prayagraj to Jhansi Jail to visit Ali Ahmed. Their car collided with a highway divider in the Poonch police station area of ​​Jhansi, resulting in the accident. Ali had been transferred from Prayagraj’s Naini Jail to Jhansi Jail on October 1, 2025, and has been incarcerated there since.

As per reports, Abaan, the youngest son of Atiq Ahmad, crashed his speeding car into a divider. In this accident, Abaan and his friend Sonu were killed. Abaan was on his way from Prayagraj to Jhansi jail to meet his brother.

The occupants of the car—28-year-old Ahjam (son of Mohammad Farukh), 30-year-old Mohammad Zaid (son of Javed Ahmed), 24-year-old Umar (son of Arsad), Aban Ahmed (son of Atiq Ahmed), and Sonu Khan, all residents of Fatwa, Prayagraj—were on their way to Jhansi.

While en route near Khilli village in the Poonch police station area, the speeding car lost control and crashed into the highway divider. The impact was so severe that the car’s front end was completely wrecked. Atiq Ahmed’s son Aban and Sonu Khan lost their lives in the accident.

The other three individuals have been rushed to Jhansi Medical College in critical condition. Police arrived at the scene and have initiated further action.
