Mansa Tragedy: Woman strangled her 3 children, then hanged herself to death

A case has come to light in Mansa where a woman strangled her three minor children to death, after which the woman herself committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan.

According to information, the husband of the said woman had died four years ago, and the woman was living in a rented house with her mother-in-law and three children. This woman strangled her eight-year-old daughter, four-year-old daughter, and one-and-a-half-year-old child to death and later ended her life by hanging herself from a fan.

The three children have been identified

The police of Police Station City 2, which reached the spot, have taken the bodies into custody and started an investigation. Roshan Singh, a relative of the deceased, said that Sandeep Kaur, who appeared to be his sister-in-law, committed suicide by hanging herself.

He learned about it when his son was sitting outside the house, crying. He said that he took down the body of the deceased Sandeep Kaur and informed the police. They said that the elder girl’s name is Moto Kaur (13 years old), the younger girl’s name is Kalu Kaur (8 years old), and the one-and-a-half-year-old child’s name is Vishwas.

Kulwant Singh, the investigating officer of Police Station City 2, said that he had received information. He said that it has been found that the woman first gave some poisonous substance to the children. Later, they were strangled to death, and she herself committed suicide by hanging herself. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
