Massive Horde of Devotees gather as Ram temple opens for public

Ayodhya: A massive rush of devotees wanting to have ‘darshan’ of Ram Lalla at the newly constructed Ram temple was witnessed in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya on Tuesday.

Devotees had lined up at the temple since 3 a.m. A majority of these are those who came for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony on Monday and stayed back to offer prayers at the temple. A large number of saints are among those who have lined up at the temple.

A devotee from Maharashtra said, “We came here yesterday. We are feeling great. We are not concerned about the huge crowd, we just wish to see Ram Lalla”

Long queues of Devotees was also seen in the Hanuman Garhi Temple today. It is a tradition to visit Hanuman Garhi temple first before coming to Ram Temple.

Temple trust members said the rush was unprecedented and they have urged the district administration to ensure proper security and continue with the arrangements.

“We expect a greater rush during the day when the local people start turning up for darshan,” said a trust member.

Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla

Grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla was performed here in the newly-inaugurated Ram Temple yesterday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the Chief Guest of this program. PM Modi was also joined by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat in Sanctum Sanctorum of the Ram Mandir. The momentous ceremony was attended by nearly 8000 guests from different walks of life such as Politics, Sports, Bollywood, Seers, etc.
