Mayur Vihar Phase 3 Murder: AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar Calls Delhi ‘Crime Capital’, Questions BJP Government

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Kondli MLA Kuldeep Kumar has criticised the Delhi government over the law and order situation after a man was allegedly beaten to death with sticks and rods in Mayur Vihar Phase 3 on Sunday.

The incident took place around 5 a.m. within the jurisdiction of the New Ashok Nagar police station. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the assault and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

Kuldeep Kumar questioned the Delhi Police and the BJP-led Delhi government over what he described as a deterioration in the city’s law and order situation.

“This happened just outside our flats. The guard was sitting at the gate, and the murder was committed in front of him. He could not even stop it, fearing for his life. Criminals are not fearing the police now. Delhi has become a crime capital,” the AAP MLA said.

“The Delhi Police is under the BJP government. We don’t know what they are doing. The BJP government has gone silent,” he added.
