CM Yogi inspects Ganga Expressway in Hardoi; Reprimands officers for slow progress

CM Yogi reached Hardoi on Sunday morning to inspect the Ganga Expressway. At 11:05, the CM's helicopter landed in Hasanpur, 40 km from the district headquarters.

Hardoi, April 27: CM Yogi reached Hardoi on Sunday morning to inspect the Ganga Expressway. At 11:05, the CM’s helicopter landed in Hasanpur, 40 km from the district headquarters. The CM inspected the expressway for about 100-200 meters from the car. UPDA officers, Uttar Pradesh Expressway Development Authority officers and National Expressway Development Authority officers were present with the CM.

Ganga Expressway was to be completed by November

The CM saw the work being done on the expressway. After that, he reprimanded the officers for the delay in construction. He told the officers that the expressway should be constructed within the stipulated time. There should be no negligence in the work.

The expressway should have been ready in November, but the construction work is going on at a very slow pace. After inspecting the expressway for about 20 minutes, CM Yogi left for Shahjahanpur by helicopter. The CM is inspecting the expressway in Hardoi, Shahjahanpur and Hapur on Sunday.

After Hardoi, the CM reached Shahjahanpur by helicopter. As soon as he got down from the helicopter, he asked about the well-being of MP Arun Sagar. After that, he left by car to inspect the expressway. He talked to the officers on the expressway and instructed them to complete the work soon. CM stayed on the spot for about 15 minutes. After that, he left for Hapur.

An airstrip is also being prepared in Shahjahanpur

Strict security arrangements were made on the arrival of the CM. No person is being allowed to come within a range of 2 km. Let us tell you, the Ganga Expressway is being constructed in Jalalabad, 30 km away from Shahjahanpur. A 3.5 km airstrip is also being prepared in Shahjahanpur.

Let us tell you, the 594 km long Ganga Expressway to be built from Meerut to Prayagraj is one of the major projects of Uttar Pradesh. This expressway will connect western and eastern Uttar Pradesh. This will promote industrial development in the region. Along with this, employment opportunities will also increase.
