Nifty fell 65 points after making an all-time high: Sensex also closed with fall of 269 points

On the last trading day of the week today, i.e. on June 21, Nifty touched a record level of 23,667. However, after a full day's trading, it came down and closed at 23,501 with a fall of 65 points.

Mumbai: On the last trading day of the week today, i.e. on June 21, Nifty touched a record level of 23,667. However, after a full day’s trading, it came down and closed at 23,501 with a fall of 65 points.

At the same time, Sensex also fell by 269 points, it closed at 77,209. Out of its 30 stocks, 20 are seeing a decline and 10 are seeing a rise. The biggest decline was seen in the shares of government banks.

Mixed trading was seen in the US market on Thursday

Mixed trading was seen in the US market on Thursday. Dow Jones closed 0.77% higher at 39,134.76. At the same time, S&P closed down 0.25% at 5,473.17 and Nasdaq closed down 0.79% at 17,721.59.

Stock market was up yesterday

Earlier yesterday i.e. on 20th June, Sensex closed at 77,478 with a gain of 141 points. Nifty also saw a gain of 51 points, it closed at 23,567.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 16 fell and 14 rose. Metal and banking stocks saw more gains. Earlier on 19th June, the stock market made an all-time high.
