Rain and lightning alert in 21 districts of UP: Temperatures in 35 districts below 40°C

In many parts of the state, the winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km during the day.

Due to the change in the weather in the state for the last 2 days, the temperature of more than 35 districts has dropped below 40°C. While in the last 24 hours, Agra was the hottest city in the state with 41.6°C.

Meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said- Due to the effect of the western disturbance, there are chances of storm and rain in the entire state from May 1 to May 4. This will provide relief from the heat waves for a few days.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains in Kerala, Karnataka, Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura on Tuesday, April 29. But there is a heatwave alert in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan.

There was a storm alert in many districts on Saturday night.

On Sunday, there was a storm in many districts, including Lucknow, Kanpur, Barabanki and Raebareli. Hundreds of trees fell due to the storm in Lucknow and Kanpur. The storm in Lalitpur was so strong that wedding chairs and tin sheds flew away.
