What are the rules for luggage on flights?

Every airline has different guidelines regarding luggage. It is mandatory for all passengers to follow these rules. Generally, there are two types of luggage, the first is the cabin bag, which you can carry inside with you and the second is the check-in bag, which is deposited at the airline counter. The passenger gets this at the airport after disembarking from the flight.

The weight of both types of luggage is different, which is written on the ticket. If your luggage is more than the prescribed weight, then you will have to pay an extra charge for it.
