Heavy rain is expected in 3 districts of Himachal Pradesh today. In view of the activation of Western Disturbance along with monsoon, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for heavy rain in three districts for Saturday and four districts on Sunday.
Monsoon has knocked in seven districts of Himachal Pradesh yesterday. According to the Meteorological Department, it can reach all 12 districts today. But with the entry, the monsoon has started weakening. However, monsoon has made a strong entry in Bharwai and Shimla of Una.
Heavy rain is expected in Himachal Pradesh from tomorrow for the next six days. Orange alert for heavy rain has been issued especially for 29 and 30 June. Yellow alert has been issued for today and tomorrow in nine districts except Una, Bilaspur and Hamirpur.
Monsoon may enter Himachal within the next two-three days. This time monsoon will reach the state three to four days late. There are three reasons for the delayed entry of monsoon. The reason is low pressure of winds blowing from the oceans and third reason is weak.

The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for 15 states. These include Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura.
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain warning in 11 states including Madhya Pradesh today. These include Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh as well as Goa, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and West Bengal.
After the rain in the last few days due to Western Disturbance, the temperature of Punjab has dropped drastically. The maximum temperature has reached normal.
