Heavy rain changed weather in many parts of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday afternoon. Due to heavy rain, the temperature dropped. Due to the rain, people have got some relief from the heat.
Storm alert has been issued in 10 districts of Haryana. During this time, winds will blow at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour. There are also chances of light drizzle along with thunderstorms. Even after this change in weather, there is little hope of getting relief from the heat.
The temperature in Punjab is continuously falling. The temperature has dropped by 1.2 degrees in the last 24 hours. Due to which people have got slight relief from the heat.
Western disturbance is becoming active in Himachal Pradesh from tonight. Due to this, there are chances of rain in the mountains for the next four days.
New records of rising temperature are being made in the country. On Monday, a 46-year-old record was broken in Punjab. The maximum temperature was recorded at 48.4 degrees in Bathinda, Punjab. On May 21, 1978, the temperature in Amritsar was recorded at 47.7 degrees.
There may be respite from the scorching heat in Himachal Pradesh after four days. According to the Meteorological Department, Western Disturbance (WD) is becoming active from May 29.
Nautapa will be very hot in Haryana for 3 days. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in 16 districts of the state on 26, 27 and 28 May.
