A red alert has been issued in Punjab for the next four days due to heat wave. According to the Meteorological Department, Chandigarh, there is a possibility of intense heat till May 27.
Haryana will remain in the grip of scorching heat for the next five days. There will be heatwave conditions in most of the districts. Maximum and minimum temperatures will increase.
