Re-allocation of portfolios after reshuffle in Punjab Cabinet, CM drops Jail and Industry &Commerce

Chandigarh: After inducting five new faces in the cabinet, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann allocated portfolios to them and also proposed to reallocate the portfolios of existing ministers. Chandigarh: After inducting five new faces in the cabinet, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann allocated portfolios to them and also proposed to reallocate the portfolios of existing ministers.
Among the new faces, Hardeep Singh Mundian has been given Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management, Water Supply & Sanitation and Housing and Urban Development.
Barinder Kumar Goyal has been allotted Mines and Geology, Water Resources and Conservation of Land & Water.
Tarunpreet Singh Sond has been allotted Tourism & Cultural Affairs, Investment Promotion, Labour, Hospitality, Industry and Commerce and Rural Development and Panchayats.


Dr. Ravjot Singh has been given Local Government and Parliamentary Affairs.
Mohinder Bhagat has been allotted Defence Services Welfare, Freedom Fighters and Horticulture.
Besides, some portfolios of existing ministers have been reallocated. Such as Information and Public Relations which was earlier with Chetan Singh Jouramajra now it has been allocated to Minister Harjot Singh Bains. Jail ministry has been allocated to Laljit Singh Bhullar. Industry and Commerce which was earlier with Bhagwant Singh Mann has now been allocated to Tarunpreet Sond. However, the ministry of Sports and Youth Services Mann has kept with him.
So in this reshuffle in the Punjab cabinet, four ministers resigned, five new have been inducted and portfolios have also been reallocated.
