The UP BJP has announced its new team ahead of the assembly elections, with a clear emphasis on giving prominence to OBCs. Neeraj Singh, son of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, has been appointed as a BJP Vice President; Pooja Pal and Suresh Rana have also been appointed to the same role.

The new list comprises 19 Vice Presidents and 8 General Secretaries. Additionally, regional presidents have been announced for the Paschim (West), Braj, Kanpur, Awadh, Kashi, and Gorakhpur regions.

Saroj Kushwaha has been appointed as the State President of the Mahila Morcha. Devendra Singh has been named State President of the Kisan Morcha, while Ashok Rawat has been appointed State President of the Scheduled Castes Morcha.

Prakash Pal has been appointed State President of the Backward Classes Morcha. Dinesh Pratap Singh has been named Chief Spokesperson, and Rohit Mishra has been appointed State President of the BJP Yuva Morcha.
