New Zealand Nagar Kirtan: Sukhbir Badal Speaks Out

Amritsar: Sukhbir Singh Badal strongly condemned the action taken by authorities in New Zealand regarding the Nagar Kirtan event. He said, “The Indian government should strongly raise this issue with the New Zealand government. This is a very dangerous action.”

Legally residing Punjabis in trouble

He further said, “Punjabis living there are on legal visas and, in some cases, have even obtained New Zealand citizenship. We are living legally in that country, and such actions are completely wrong.”

Responsibility for the safety of Indian citizens

Badal stressed that it is the New Zealand government’s responsibility to ensure the safety of Indian citizens living there and provide them with a safe environment.
