Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s Cousin Joins BJP; served as AAP’s Campaign In-charge during polls

Gyan Singh, the cousin of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, joined the BJP on Monday. He was formally inducted into the party in Chandigarh by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini and Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar.

He had previously served as the campaign in-charge for the AAP during both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

A native of Satoj village in Sangrur, Gyan Singh Mann began his political journey with the 2012 Assembly elections. Since the inception of the Aam Aadmi Party in 2013, he has worked consistently to strengthen the organization. He served as the in-charge of the Sangrur MP’s office from 2014 to 2022.

During the 2022 Assembly elections, he played a pivotal role as the office in-charge for Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s constituency, Dhuri. His induction into the BJP is being viewed as a move that will bolster the party’s presence, particularly in the Malwa region.
