Punjab Government to Fill 107 Junior Engineer Posts in Water Resources Department

Jalandhar: The Punjab Government has decided to fill 107 Junior Engineer (JE) posts in the Water Resources Department. This recruitment process will be done completely online through the Subordinate Services Selection Board (SSSB). The government aims to speed up the work of the department and provide employment opportunities to more youth.

Recruitment in Group B

According to sources, this recruitment will be done under Group B. The recruitment will be for posts related to civil, mechanical and electrical engineering. The required educational qualification is a three-year diploma or higher degree in the relevant field. The board has clarified that the recruitment will be done completely online, to ensure that the candidates do not face any difficulty.

Legal team to keep an eye on

To keep the recruitment process free from legal disputes, the government has formed a special team to study all the cases. Appointment letters will be issued immediately after the completion of the recruitment process. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann himself participates in the appointments. Till date, no government recruitment process has been challenged in court.

This recruitment process will provide permanent employment opportunities for the youth of the state and will expedite the work of the Water Resources Department.
