An FIR has been registered at PS Division No. 08, Ludhiana. Further investigation is underway.

According to preliminary investigation, the accused were allegedly in contact with foreign-based handlers and had been assigned a target in the Chandigarh-Mohali area. The suspects were allegedly tasked with carrying out firing in connection with an extortion-related operation.
Planned Firing Incident Prevented
Police said the timely arrest of the two accused prevented the planned firing incident. An FIR has been registered at Police Station Division No. 08, Ludhiana, and further investigation is underway to establish the wider network and identify other individuals involved.
